We are Gutenberg. Our shop is like his. The Internet is the frame of our press; the components are the characters; and the designs are the typesetting. Besides understanding the tools and materials – typesetting is what divides apprentices from experts and experts from masters. Like typesetting to a printer, great design is our competitive advantage.
We love what we do. When Steve and I started this company in 2000, we had no idea where it would take us: we just loved making websites. Each new client brought on possibilities and accomplishments. Websites have taken us into factories, laboratories, charities, professional firms, the best restaurants, and many more and of all kinds.
Our craft has taken us all across the United States, Mexico, and Africa. We have collaborated with people in Australia, Canada, Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, England, Costa Rica, and the Philippines. We have had meetings in the tiniest kitchens to the biggest conference rooms. This journey makes us who we are and we are passionate about talking about it.
To us, sayings like "go the extra mile" mean we answer our phones at all hours when duty calls, we stay up late when an important deadline looms, and sometimes we toast a glass of champagne when big projects launch.
Along the years our team has grown, and the new faces have brought talents beyond what I could have ever imagined. Products have changed and the internet has evolved, and we have gone with it, riding this sweet, sweet wave.
